Napping in the evening

2 August 2013

On a lovely summer evening it is good to nap in the shade of the garden with a pal.

  1. Oh, this is the sweetest photo. Milo and pal enjoying the nice warm rays of the sun. BTW: do you have a group photo (like a 5x7) of Milo and pals that I can purchase from you....like a reprint? Our shelves, piano, and dressers are filled with beloved critters, including a couple special ones, and I really would love to have one of Milo to add to my collection. Thanks.

    1. Hi Nancy -

I know you are very involved in getting animals safely transferred from RLRR and I'd be happy to send you a photo. Is there a particular one in the blog posts that you'd like? Or should we try to get a new one?

  2. After paging through the many photos of Milo and pals, I discovered quickly that he is too photogenic, and each photo tells the story of his amazing progress.....and how do I pick through them?! From his rough beginnings to the recent photo of him laying in the sunshine looking as handsome and content as can be, I just can't make up my mind. Will you pick your favorite and send it to me.....and I want to make a donation honoring Milo. Ya know, in working with Karen for several years, I usually remember all the names of those we have transported, and hold a handful of the special dogs close to my heart....and Milo will always be one of those. He is one very very special boy to me.
    Hugs for Milo today. Thanks.......Nancy.

  3. I sent a donation out on Monday and you should be receiving it
very shortly. My address will be on the envelope but I will also send it to your email address as well. Sure appreciate all the tremendous love and compassion, and beautiful home-life you have provided for Milo. I shudder to think what his life would have been like had you not stepped up to help him. He is a beauty.
And we are so grateful! Hugs for Milo, and a huge thank you to you!

  4. I live in St Paul and volunteer with Feline Rescue. I follow the Red Lake Rosie blog as many people involved in rescue do. I followed Milo from that blog to yours and have followed his progress. It makes me so happy to see how well he is doing. Thank you so much for keeping us updated. The blog wouldn't let me comment before, so I'm glad I can do so today.

It's absolutely fantastic to see him playing with friends and herding! He had such a tough beginning. Thank you for all your have done for him.
